ARB Calendar

The 73rd Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 16/04/2020 to 20/04/2020 by the Oman Chess Committee and Asia Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA Abdulrahim, Mahdi (UAE), FIDE Lecturer.
The language of the Seminar will be Arabic.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

The 112th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 2/6/2022 to 5/6/2022 by the Portuguese Chess Federation and African Chess Confederation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer will be IA Dias, Carlos Oliveira (POR), FIDE Lecturer and Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Rocha, Paulo (POR).

The language of the Seminar will be Portuguese.

A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organised from 8/12/2022 to 13/12/2022 in Rio de Janeiro, by the Brasilian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar will be the Copacabana Hotel, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Lecturer will be IA/IO Pingas, Blas Mariano (ARG), FIDE Lecturer  and Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA/IO Mafra, Kaiser Luiz (BRA).

The language of the Seminar will be Portuguese.

The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

 – 12-13 hs. – Use of the electronics clocks.

Day Three – 11/12/2022 – 09 – 13 hs.
– 09-11 hs. – Regulations for the rating and the over-the-board titles.
– 11-13 hs. – Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters.

Day Four – 12/12/2022 – 09 – 13 hs.
– 09-12 hs. – Swiss System and Pairing Rules.
– 12-13 hs. – Anti-Cheating guidelines for Arbiters.

The 128th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 18/03/2023 to 29/03/2023 by the Portuguese Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The language of the Seminar will be Portuguese.

The language of the Seminar will be Portuguese.

The FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Florianopolis (BRA) is going to be organized from 20/01/2025 to 24/01/2025 by the Brazilian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
